By 2022, Hyundai intends to have a total of 10 electrified vehicles in its overall lineup. Much like they took the Hyundai Genesis and formed the Genesis luxury sub-brand, they’ll be turning IONIQ into its electrified sub-brand. ![]() One of the biggest recent announcements from Hyundai is that they’ll be breaking off IONIQ as its own sub-brand. We’ve already got the Veloster N and Sonata N Line and are aware of the upcoming Elantra N Line and Tucson N Line, but what other models does Hyundai have in store? One thing we do know is that there will be four N Line models and three purist N models, which means two models will be joining the Veloster N and we should see a fourth N Line get revealed. While the Elantra GT is no more, taking one N Line option away, Hyundai intends to release seven total through the 2022 calendar year. ![]() N Line Performance VehiclesĪs you’ve likely already noticed, Hyundai has really started to ramp up its N Line offerings as they build on their performance portfolio. As of now, the Korean carmaker’s Indian lineup consists of a total of 11 products spread across different segments. The carmaker has come a long way since its first car launched in India in 1998, and currently has a portfolio consisting of some of the highest-selling cars in the country such as Creta, Venue and so on. Hyundai currently has two manufacturing plants in India, located at Irungattukottai and Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu, with an annual combined capacity of producing 7.65 lakh units a year. ![]() Hyundai Motor India Ltd is the second-largest passenger vehicle manufacturer in the Indian market, only behind Maruti Suzuki.
